This policy explains what information we collect through sregusa.com and its subdomains (the “Website”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you create an account, submit a contact or “request information” form, save searches or homes, or leave a comment, we may collect your name, email, phone number, search criteria, and anything you write in a message. If you use a mortgage tool or contact our lending affiliate, you may be asked for more sensitive details such as income or credit information. You may also give us information about other people, such as an email address when you share a listing.

Information collected automatically.

  • Activity: pages viewed, homes viewed, searches, clicks, and time on pages.
  • Device: browser and device type, operating system, device identifiers, IP address, crash reports, and date and time of access.
  • Location: if you allow location services on your device or browser, we may collect your location to show nearby homes and professionals. You can turn this off in your device or browser settings.
  • Cookies and similar tools: cookies, pixels, and web beacons that help us understand site usage and remember your preferences. See Section 6.

Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the comment form data plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar to check for a profile picture (automattic.com/privacy). Once approved, your profile picture is visible in the context of your comment.

2. How We Use Information

3. How We Share Information

  • At your request. If you contact a professional through the Website, we send them the information you submitted.
  • Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate, including hosting, email, text messaging, CRM, analytics, and advertising providers. They may use it only to perform services for us.
  • AI tools. We may use AI-powered tools to help respond to inquiries and improve our services. We share personal data with them only as needed to provide those services.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud, or protect rights and safety. If we can, we will tell you first.
  • Business transfers. Information may transfer in a merger, sale, or reorganization.
  • De-identified data. We may share public, aggregated, or de-identified information without restriction.
  • Mobile information. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. It may be shared only with service providers that help deliver our messages.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. Text Messages

By giving us your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of buying or selling a home or obtaining a loan.

5. Your Choices

  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
  • Texts: reply STOP.
  • AI tools or data requests: email [email protected] and we will respond within 45 days.
  • Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send transactional or relationship messages about your inquiries, transactions, or account.

6. Cookies, Advertising, and Embedded Content

We use cookies to remember your preferences and understand site usage. If you comment, you can opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies for one year. Login cookies last two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember Me.” Screen option cookies last one year. A cookie that records the post ID of an article you edit expires after one day.

We use remarketing services (including Google and Meta) to show ads to past visitors on other sites. These vendors use cookies based on your past visits. You can manage this through Google’s and Meta’s ad preferences settings or browser cookie controls.

Pages may include embedded content (videos, images, articles) from other sites. That content may collect data about you and track your interaction with it, as if you had visited that site directly.

7. Data Retention

We keep contact and lead information for as long as needed to serve you and for 5 years after our last interaction, unless the law requires longer. Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized. Registered users can view, edit, or delete their profile information at any time (except username).

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state (including California and Washington), you may have the right to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or sharing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To submit a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first, and you may use an authorized agent.

9. Security

We use reasonable physical and electronic safeguards, including SSL encryption in transit. No system is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If you have an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

10. Children

The Website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Where Your Data Is Processed

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored here.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The “Last Updated” date shows the latest version.
